Kainai Forage is looking forward to a strong 2023 growing season

Shed 9’s cement pad in place, construction on the structure to begin

Stand Off, Alberta (March 7, 2023):  Kainai Forage, a leading Canadian producer and exporter of premium Timothy Hay is excited that spring and with it, a new growing season is around the corner.

Since 2019, Kainai Forage has undertaken an aggressive growth strategy with the target of expanding its export operations to over 100,000 metric tonnes per year, all sourced from the ideal growing conditions on the Kainai / Blood Tribe Reserve.  With the new processing plant online, 2022 began a three-year ramp to establish the remaining acreage of the project to Timothy Hay.  We will continue to build additional storage capacity to service the newly planted acres as they come online, beginning with Shed 9, scheduled to be completed for the 2023 harvest.
