Kainai Forage Welcomes Irrigation Season 2022

Kainai Forage

Stand Off, Alberta (May 9, 2022): Each spring brings new growth and excitement for the premium Timothy Hay export business at Kainai Forage.  This week, the water started on the Kainai/Blood Tribe’s 25,000 acre forage project.

With 3,805 acres of new Timothy Hay planted in the fall and spring of this year, we have been eager to help it establish by turning on the water.

We are looking forward to another terrific year of production of our world-class product.  With our continued expansion and our new hay press up and running, we are pleased to start the final phase of our expansion – ramping to over 100,000 exportable tonnes.
